The Best Time To Visit Costa Rica

I (Ben) just got back from a 10-day trip to Costa Rica...

I played tourist. I met interesting people. I played tour guide. I spent time with old friends. And I shared The Latest Batch chocolate everywhere I went. (Our 75% with Winter Spices is a hit!)

January Is The Perfect Time To Visit Costa Rica

January is a fantastic time for a visit. It's just starting to transition from rainy season to dry season...

It's mostly dry. But it's still very green. The animals are active. The rivers and waterfalls are running strong. And the air feels and smells fresh. (Cars are only starting to kick up dust from dirt roads.)

I went to three of my favorite areas: La Fortuna - home to Arenal Volcano and some amazing hot springs; Manuel Antonio - home to beautiful beaches and a great national park; and the south Pacific coast (specifically, Dominical to Ojochal), my former home.

Here are some of my photos from the trip...

As we say in Costa Rica, pura vida!

P.S. I should mention you can still get Batch #5, fresh, right here.
